How Tenmat are involved

Tenmat became aware that the 50mm cavity in architects drawings did not account for building tolerances. Tenmat has worked closly with house builders and timber frame manufacturers providing a cost effective and high performance solution. The Tenmat team worked on developing a new product, putting the product through rigorous third paty testing, and came up with an innovative solution to replace traditional cavity socks.

Testing Needed

The CFB65 was tested at Warrington Exova fire test centre. The product exceeded standard test regulations.

Advantages

The CFB65 was developed to overcome problems that traditional cavity trays and socks can cause. Our solution is a ventilated system simply stapled onto the timber.
• Fills 65mm cavities; taking up any inconsistencies frequently found in a 50mm cavities
• Replaces cavity socks and weep holes
• Quicker and easier to install by one tradesman
