Tenmat Seizes September with ASFP and MNDA

FUNDRAISING CHALLENGE

Tenmat Seizes September!

When we heard that the Association for Specialist Fire Protection (ASFP) was hosting a Seize September fundraising challenge honouring the life of Brendan Pettit, we had to get involved.

Throughout the month-long event, ASFP encouraged its members to get outside and seize the end of summer in aid of motor neurone disease – with a collective goal of 500 miles and £5,000.

And so, our crack team of Tenmat outdoor enthusiasts answered the call…

What we did...

Our active A-team didn’t hang about. Our Fire Protection Sales Director – Nordics & New Markets Erik Karlsson got on his bike and contributed a whopping 188 miles across the month.

Business Development Manager Raphael Dogon (pictured left) got on – and off – his bike – hiking and cycling a total of 68.48 miles throughout September.

Global Product Manager Chris Thompson ran, jogged, climbed (including completing the National Three Peaks Challenge!), and cycled his way to a personal record of 83 miles.

Sales Director Mark Davies also got in on the action – ranking up 115 miles by cycling to and from work.

And Specification Sales Manager Adrian Munn got his running shoes on and racked up an impressive 25 miles to add to our target!

It's all for a very good cause

Although at points the going got tough – as we see in Chris’ gradually deteriorating enjoyment of his first run – it was well worth showing our support for this very worthy cause.

Many of the Tenmat team know or have worked with Brendan Pettit and have nothing but fond recollections of time spent with him. We hope that by getting involved in his honour, Brendan and his family feel the outpouring of support and care from all of us across the industry.
